Τhis comparative and methodological study aims to the interpretation of Neolithic figurine art, which leads to the understanding of Neolithic cognital status and reasoning. It clarifies the points on which various interpretative approaches have been based. Through the monograph’s rich illustrations showing the diversity of the figurine material are set the baselines for the formulation of the Theory of Repetition. The book comprises a rich photographical documentation and a large bibliography.
